The team works with a diverse client base, from middle-market businesses to large corporations, providing specialist VAT advice across a range of sectors.

This is an opportunity to take on a senior role within its London Financial Services team, combining technical advisory work with client development, business development and team leadership.The RoleAdvise on a broad range of VAT matters, undertaking specialist technical assignments.Lead VAT due diligence projects and support clients on complex advisory engagements.Take ownership of a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining long-term relationships.Identify new business opportunities and generate additional fees from existing clients.Work closely with Partners and senior colleagues to develop relationships and convert opportunities into new work.Support the delivery and growth of a strong pipeline of VAT advisory assignments.Oversee, mentor and develop junior VAT professionals, ensuring high-quality client delivery.Contribute to the wider growth and development of the VAT practice, with a focus on Financial Services.Your ExperienceStrong technical VAT knowledge and experience delivering advisory work.Experience within Financial Services VAT would be highly relevant.Operating at Manager, Senior Manager or Associate Director level, or possessing the skills to succeed at Associate Director level.A proven track record of winning new work and/or generating additional fees from existing clients.Experience managing client relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.Strong business development skills, with the ability to turn relationships into fee-paying work.Experience mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the development of a successful team.Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, alongside strong commercial awareness.The RewardsSalary of 90,000–130,000, plus bonus.Hybrid working arrangements.27 days' annual holiday, with the option to purchase additional days.Individual healthcare cover, virtual GP access and wider health and wellbeing benefits.Financial wellbeing tools and an electric car scheme.Access to extensive professional development resources and on-demand training.The opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in the continued growth of a Financial Services VAT team. xwzovoh For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career, get in touch with Andy Ball at HireIQ in complete confidence.
