About the role

Technical Manager (Audio Visual Integration) Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, including 1-hour lunch) Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join our team within a leading global audio-visual integration environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-level technical estimating, pre-sales support, and project delivery assistance across both domestic and international projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and detail-oriented professional to contribute to complex AV projects, working closely with Business Managers, Design, and Project Delivery teams. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret consultant and contractor RFP documentation Support the development of technical tender submissions Attend internal and external meetings/interviews as required Pre-Construction & Construction Phase Participate in pre-construction workshops and capture outputs for internal teams Develop and manage technical submittals through to completion Lead internal coordination meetings to communicate design requirements Manage technical queries and coordinate external Q&A processes Review and validate all drawings prior to external submission Ensure drawing accuracy and manage updates through project lifecycle Change Control Manage design changes throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate with consultants on change requirements Run RFI and technical query processes Communicate changes to internal departments including Design, Procurement, Production, Programming, and Engineering teams Support commercial teams with variation quotations Ensure all changes are documented and incorporated into O&M manuals Rack Build & Testing Coordinate with Production to ensure rack builds align with project programmes Verify programming aligns with latest design revisions Oversee pre-staging and testing readiness Attend witness testing sessions IT / UC Coordination Work with AV/UC engineers on system requirements and delivery Track documentation including High-Level Designs (HLDs) and IT interface schedules Ensure alignment between technical delivery and client expectations Commissioning & Handover Attend site for commissioning, testing, and project handover Support completion and accuracy of O&M documentation Ensure all design changes are fully captured and reflected in final deliverables Desirable Skills & Experience Strong working knowledge of AV systems and associated IT infrastructure Experience with technologies such as AMX, Crestron, Extron, DSP systems, and video conferencing platforms Understanding of networked AV systems and IT integration Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into technical solutions Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills Experience working within AV integration or similar technical project environments About Marble Talent As engineering recruitment specialists, we pride ourselves on the ability to turn aspiring candidates at the beginning, middle or towards the end of their engineering careers into successful, professional engineers place at the right companies.
