You’ll take ownership of conference content, researching the market, developing agendas and building relationships with senior industry figures. Previous events experience is useful, but the business is also open to bright, commercially minded graduates with excellent research and communication skills.
About the company
Our client is a leading international B2B events business producing large-scale conferences and exhibitions across technology, energy, transport, healthcare and other fast-growth industries.
This role sits within their solar and renewable energy portfolio, giving you the opportunity to become immersed in a rapidly developing industry while building relationships with senior executives, innovators and industry experts.
Responsibilities include:
- Researching the renewable energy market to identify trends, challenges and the topics that will shape your conferences
- Creating commercially relevant agendas and securing senior industry leaders as speakers
- Building relationships with speakers and stakeholders, managing them from initial approach through to the live event
- Working closely with sales, marketing and operations teams before travelling to your events and managing the conference content onsite
Requirements include:
- Fluent French and English – both written and spoken – is essential
- Excellent research, writing and communication skills with genuine intellectual curiosity
- Proactive, organised and confident building relationships with senior professionals
