GAP Talent is partnering with an established international hospitality group to appoint a Chief Operating Officer to provide operational leadership across a portfolio of luxury resorts in the Indian Ocean region - Seychelles or Maldives.

This is a significant executive appointment for an accomplished hospitality leader with a strong background in large-scale resort operations, ideally gained within luxury, all-inclusive or complex destination resort environments.

Reporting at Group Executive level, the COO will take responsibility for the operational performance of the portfolio, working closely with General Managers and functional leaders to drive commercial performance, guest experience, service standards, operational consistency and leadership capability.

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience leading multiple hotels or resorts and will be comfortable operating across different markets, cultures and geographically dispersed locations.

We are particularly interested in executives who have progressed through hotel or resort operations and General Management before moving into regional, divisional or corporate leadership.

Key Experience

• Senior operational leadership across a multi-property luxury resort portfolio
• Previous experience as a General Manager within a substantial resort or hotel operation - 300 plus rooms
• Strong understanding of Rooms, F&B, Guest Experience and wider resort operations
• Demonstrable responsibility for commercial and operational performance
• Experience leading General Managers and large, multicultural operational teams
• Proven ability to drive consistent service and operational standards across multiple properties
• Strong owner and senior stakeholder engagement
• Experience within all-inclusive, integrated or destination resorts would be highly advantageous
• International experience across resort-led leisure markets
• Comfortable travelling regularly across a geographically dispersed portfolio
