Draughtsman

A leading structural steel specialist is currently looking for a permanent Draughtsman to produce GAs and fabrication drawings for structural steelwork projects in Buckinghamshire.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE)

Contract: Permanent

Duties:

• Producing GAs and fabrication drawings from building plans using 2D & 3D CAD software
• Producing fabrication details methodically and accurately for the fabrication shop
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant regulations (UKCA marking, Building Control)
• Quantifying materials required for each project
• Liaising with the fabrication team, contractors, architects and engineers on drawing xwzovoh queries

Requirements:

• AutoCAD: 2 years' experience (preferred)
• Experience using Tekla Structures software / Advance Steel
