Teaching Assistant - September Start
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham, London
Contract: Full-Time | Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
A friendly and supportive school in Hammersmith and Fulham is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and eager to support students in reaching their full potential. The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and support staff to provide high-quality classroom support and help create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support to pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Support students with varying learning abilities and needs
Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
A genuine interest in education and child development
The ability to work collaboratively within a school team
