Electrical Shift Engineer Farringdon Overview of Vertex Services At Vertex our Mission Statement is “Make people – our colleagues, clients and communities – the centre of everything we do and in doing so bring a positive difference to every environment we support” Job Purpose Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be working within the engineering maintenance team. You will provide all – round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. You will have a detailed understanding of all new of current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/Building Codes of practice. Job Responsibilities * Emergency lighting * Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work * Completion of PPM and reactive tasks for their respective shift team * Identification of materials required to be ordered in a timely manner and completion of the internal Materials Request Form (MRF1) * Maintain effective shift handovers * including critical plant status, plant isolations, issues arising, ongoing works, special task requests, standard of housekeeping * Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording. * Control of 3rd party contractors including monitoring of work performance and standards, including internal auditing where applicable in conjunction with the Shift Manager * AC, DC, single phase and three phase motors Shift Rota 40 4 off days and nights Package * Paying £52,000 * Company Benifits
