CNC Machinist - Turning

Are you a CNC Turner with experience setting, operating and programming CNC machinery? A growing specialist engineering and sub-contract manufacturing business is looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join its team on a permanent basis. You’ll work with a range of components and assemblies, using CNC turning machinery to produce high-quality, precision parts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner looking for a long-term role with opportunities for development and overtime. Key Responsibilities * Program, set and operate CNC lathes * Use CNC tooling and precision measurement equipment * Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents * Handle and protect manufactured components, fabricated parts and assemblies * Identify and resolve machining and production issues * Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail * Support continual improvement and changing production requirements Skills & Knowledge Required * Previous experience working as a CNC Turner * Strong CNC machinery and tooling skills * Experience using precision measurement equipment * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings * Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail * Strong problem-solving and communication skills * Self-motivated with a drive for results and improvement * Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements Swift are acting as an employment agency with regards to this vacancy
