MIG / TIG Welder / Plater

Job Title: Welders & Platers Location: Oldham & Sheffield Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full time, Permanent Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced Welders, MIG/TIG Welders and Platers to join our fabrication team in our Oldham and Sheffield sites. Working within a heavy manufacturing environment, you will be involved in the production of high-quality fabricated components, working from engineering drawings and specifications to meet demanding quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: * Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications * Mark out, assemble, fit, tack and weld components * Carry out plating, fabrication and welding activities to the required standard * Use fabrication machinery, welding equipment and hand tools safely and effectively * Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy * Work with overhead cranes and lifting equipment where trained * Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area * Follow all company quality and health & safety procedures What We're Looking For: * Experience as a Welder, MIG/TIG Welder or Plater within fabrication, engineering or heavy manufacturing * Ability to work from engineering drawings * Strong practical fabrication and welding skills * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality * Awareness of safe working practices and lifting operations * Reliable team players with a positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer * Competitive rates of pay * Overtime opportunities * Stable, long-term employment * Training and development opportunities * Supportive team environment * Opportunity to work on large-scale engineering and fabrication projects If you have experience in welding, fabrication or plating and are looking to join a well-established engineering business, we would like to hear from you.
