Accountant - Accountancy Practice

Accountant We are working with a leading organisation based in Co Armagh to recruit for an Accountant to be part of their finance team. This is a full-time permanent role with a degree of flexibility in working hours. Working with the Finance Director and the finance team the Accountant will support strategic financial management, preparation of management accounts and supporting with annual financial statements. Producing management reports and variance analysis and maintaining budget control Working alongside Management to prepare budgets Assist in the planning and preparation of the draft Annual Accounts preparing supporting papers as required Support the administration and management of claims Ensure financial policies and procedures are kept up to date where necessary Provide reports, returns and financial information as required Enhance current systems and implement new systems as required, providing training, establishing KPIs, updating procedures and policies to achieve efficiencies and improved business practices. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ) and at least 2 years experience in a similar role Proficient in the use of IT, including Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word etc. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders If you are interested in this job and want to have a chat about it, please contact Mary on or email Skills: Accountant, project planning, Accounts
