About the Role
As a Functional Assessor with Ingeus, you’ll assess how health conditions affect daily living through telephone, video and in-person assessments.
You’ll:
- Review clinical evidence
- Carry out structured assessments
- Use focused questioning to gather accurate information
- Produce clear, objective reports
No hands-on care. No shift work.
About You
You’re a registered clinician who:
- Communicates clearly and objectively
- Is comfortable using computers and producing detailed written reports
- Values structure and consistency
If your experience has been focused on a single speciality or limited patient group, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
Essential Requirements
- NMC or HCPC registration
- At least 12 months’ recent UK post-registration experience practicing in the UK for the past 12 months.
- Broad clinical exposure across a range of adult conditions
- Strong clinical reasoning and written communication skills
This role is best suited to clinicians who have worked with varied patient groups and conditions, rather than a narrow or highly specialised caseload.
What You’ll Get
- Salary + up to 10% annual bonus, paid quarterly
- Starting salary - £44,862. Salary at 12 months - £46,862 + potential to earn an additional £2000 local bonus for this site.
- Further salary uplifts aligned to new skills & development will continue to apply from year 2.
