Quality Engineer

CMC are currently working with a leading organisation in a highly regulated manufacturing environment looking to bring in a Quality Engineer on a 12-month contract.

This is a great opportunity to support complex engineering programmes, focusing on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure product & process quality requirements are consistently met
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support new product introduction and first article activities
• Work with engineering teams on process capability and improvement
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
• Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issue

What we're looking for

• Experience in Quality Engineering within manufacturing or engineering environments
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO9001 / AS9100)
• Experience with RCA, CAPA, FMEA, PPAP, SPC
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality improvement
