Site Supervisor required for immediate start

Site Manager – 1 Week Cover Contract: Freelance / Temporary We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to provide 1 week's cover for a reputable Tier 2 main contractor on a completed project in Birmingham. The building is now in the commissioning and handover phase, with the main construction works complete. The successful Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the site during this final stage, ensuring the building remains secure, subcontractors are coordinated effectively and any outstanding commissioning or close-out activities are progressed smoothly. Liaising with subcontractors and commissioning teams attending site. Monitoring subcontractor attendance and ensuring they are working to the agreed programme. Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining general site standards. Assisting with the coordination of outstanding snagging, testing and commissioning activities. Ensuring all visitors and contractors sign in and comply with site procedures. Communicating any issues or progress updates to the Project/Contracts Manager. Previous experience working as a Site Manager within a main contracting environment. SMSTS. Valid CSCS card. Comfortable working independently and managing subcontractors. Previous experience working through commissioning, snagging or handover stages would be advantageous. This is a straightforward 1-week freelance cover opportunity with a well-established Tier 2 main contractor, ideal for an experienced Site Manager looking for a short-term assignment in Birmingham.
