Mechanical Site Supervisor – London
We are seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to join a major Project in London. This is an opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile site, overseeing Mechanical installation activities and helping drive project excellence from start to completion.
The Role
The Mechanical Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating Mechanical installation works across the project lifecycle, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications, programme requirements, and Dornan's vision, mission, and values.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate Mechanical installation activities from initial site works through to commissioning and handover.
Oversee Mechanical subcontractors and direct labour to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Review drawings, specifications, and installation plans to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Monitor site progress and report on Mechanical activities against project schedules.
Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and the supply chain to ensure successful delivery.
Promote and maintain high Health & Safety standards across all project activities.
Support testing, commissioning, project close-out, and handover activities.
Ensure quality inspections and snagging activities are completed in line with project requirements.
Assist in resolving technical and installation issues on site.
Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, inspections, and permits.
Drive site productivity, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Your Experience
Strong technical knowledge within a Mechanical Site Supervisor or Mechanical Foreman role.
Experience managing Mechanical subcontractors and site installation activities.
Good commercial awareness within construction projects.
Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Your Qualifications
Relevant Mechanical qualification or trade background.
Previous experience working within the construction industry.
Previous experience working in a similar role.
SSSTS/SMSTS qualification desirable.
Valid Safe Pass/CSCS card or equivalent.
