We’re looking for a Head of Twinings Quality Manufacturing Excellence to centralize factories’ ways of working to ensure consistent Food Safety and Quality across Twinings manufacturing sites. The Company currently operates 3 production sites: Poland, UK and one in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve a global quality and food safety strategy across all manufacturing sites
- Manage effective governance through leadership engagement and quality performance oversight
- Ensure full compliance with global regulatory and legal standards
- Support audit performance, improving compliance and site preparedness
- Define and track KPIs to enable data-driven quality improvements
- Shape and embed a high-performance food safety culture worldwide
- Oversee crisis management frameworks, ensuring robust traceability systems
- Standardise complaint management, ensuring effective root cause and corrective action processes
- Align global factory quality teams under a unified vision and standards
- Promote cross-site collaboration to accelerate best practice sharing and innovation
- Introduce advanced technologies and systems to enhance quality, hygiene, and efficiency
- Represent quality standards through clear communication and stakeholder engagement
Travel requirements: 20% of time
Direct reports: 3
Hybrid mode: 3-4 days in the office/week
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 10+ years’ experience in food quality & safety in food manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience in quality management
- Experience building effective teams and systems
- Demonstrated ability to make changes and deliver results
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and global teams
- Skilled in managing diverse, international teams
- Solid understanding of manufacturing, GMPs, and food safety standards
- Experience with labs, suppliers, and third-party manufacturers
- Effective communicator with well-developed stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Food Science (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of GFSI standards (e.g., FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS)
