Job Description Legal Counsel – Litigation | 1–6 Years’ PQE | Staffordshire | Hybrid Working /n /nThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor (1–6 PQE) to join a busy and supportive in-house legal team based in Staffordshire./n /nThis is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career in-house, with responsibility for managing a broad range of litigation and dispute matters within a commercially focused business./n /nYou will work closely with colleagues across the business and external legal advisers, providing practical legal advice and helping to manage disputes, debt recovery and other legal matters./n /n /nThe Role/n /n /nAs a Legal Counsel – Litigation, you will:/n /n /n - Manage and advise on a range of litigation and dispute matters, including preparing cases for court or settlement /n - Deal with a range of commercial disputes and debt recovery matters /n - Liaise with internal teams and third parties to understand and resolve disputes /n - Manage relationships with external counsel and third-party providers /n - Assist with the management, reporting and progression of litigation matters /n About You/n /n /nYou will ideally be:/n /n /n - A qualified solicitor or barrister /n - 1–6 years’ PQE /n - Experienced in litigation and dispute resolution /n - Comfortable managing large and complex case files /n - Experienced in County Court and High Court litigation /n - Commercially minded, with an understanding of the wider business impact of legal decisions /n - A clear and concise communicator with strong problem-solving skills /n - Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities /n What’s On Offer/n /n - Hybrid working – 3 days per week office-based /n - The opportunity to move into a genuine in-house legal role /n - Exposure to complex litigation, disputes and commercial issues /n - Early responsibility and the opportunity to develop your legal and commercial skills /n - The chance to work closely with senior legal and business stakeholders /n - A varied role within a busy and supportive legal team /n Why Apply?/n /n /nThis is an excellent opportunity for a 1–6 PQE litigation solicitor looking to take the next step in their career and gain valuable in-house experience./n /n /nYou’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of litigation matters, work closely with the wider business and develop your understanding of the legal and commercial issues affecting a large organisation.
