Overview Our client, a well-established and growing wholesale insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced Property & Casualty Wholesale Broker to join their London team. This role will focus on both business production and market placement, working closely with retail brokers to structure and place complex P&C risks into the London and international insurance markets.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded broker who enjoys building strong relationships with retail partners while leveraging market expertise to deliver tailored insurance solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with retail brokers, acting as a trusted wholesale partner for complex P&C placementsProduce new business opportunities through proactive broker engagement and market presenceAnalyse client risk exposures and structure appropriate Property & Casualty insurance solutionsNegotiate terms and place risks with London Market and international insurersPrepare and present market submissions, ensuring high-quality documentation and accurate risk informationWork closely with underwriters to secure competitive terms and capacityManage the placement process from initial submission through to binding and post-placement servicingMaintain strong awareness of market appetite, capacity, and pricing trendsCollaborate with internal teams including operations and claims where requiredKey RequirementsProven experience in Property & Casualty broking, ideally within a wholesale or London Market environmentStrong track record in business production and market placementEstablished relationships with retail brokers and/or London Market insurersExcellent negotiation and relationship-management skillsStrong understanding of P&C insurance structures and coverageAbility to manage multiple placements and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and presentation skills
