Albion Rye Associates are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing biotechnology company at the forefront of next-generation discovery and preclinical research technologies. The Opportunity
You will work closely with leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies, developing strategic partnerships and supporting the growth of advanced preclinical and discovery solutions. The position provides extensive exposure to both cutting-edge science and high-level commercial strategy within the global biopharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s scientific platforms, technologies, and commercial offerings
- Identify and engage prospective biotech and pharmaceutical clients
- Generate new business opportunities and manage the full business development cycle from initial outreach through to contract negotiation and close
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key scientific and commercial stakeholders
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and scientific meetings
- Collaborate with the marketing team to strengthen brand presence and market awareness
- Monitor industry trends and competitive developments within the biotech and drug discovery landscape
Requirements
- PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Immunology, Oncology, Pharmacology, or a related bioscience discipline
- Strong interest in biopharmaceutical innovation and commercial strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage scientific audiences confidently
- Passion for networking and relationship-building within the biotech and pharma sectors
- Previous experience in business development, licensing, sales, or client-facing scientific roles is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to revenue growth or commercial success is beneficial
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events
