Project Manager Opportunity
We are currently working on behalf of our client, a well‑established independent security systems integrator, who is seeking two experienced Project Managers to support continued growth across the UK.
Our client has built a strong reputation over several decades, delivering complex security solutions across high‑security, public space, transport, and infrastructure projects. They are known for delivering innovative, reliable systems and maintaining long‑standing client relationships through exceptional service.
The Role Of The Project Manager
Working collaboratively with Sales, Service, Commercial, and Technical Design teams, you will manage the end‑to‑end delivery of implementation projects, from initial handover through to final close‑out. Projects will vary in size and complexity, and you will be comfortable working either as the lead Project Manager or as part of a wider project team.
Projects span multiple sectors including government, CNI, utilities, police, local authorities, and commercial environments, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Project Manager Key Responsibilities
Deliver projects to agreed time, cost, and quality targets
Manage multiple projects within a matrix organisation
Lead project teams to ensure successful outcomes
Develop and maintain project scopes, plans, schedules, and resource requirements
Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and opportunities
Manage technical and commercial change control
Oversee on‑site installation and commissioning activities
Prepare and present progress and management reports to clients and senior stakeholders
Develop recovery plans where project variances arise
Raise purchase requisitions for materials and subcontracted resources
Support business‑winning and bid activity where required
Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons‑learned initiatives
Project Manager Requirements
3+ years’ experience managing multiple projects in a client‑facing environment
Background within security, telecoms, electronics, or technology‑driven industries advantageous
Strong understanding of project management methodologies
(APM, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or PMI preferred)
Experience working under NEC3/4 and/or JCT contractual frameworks
Good working knowledge of CDM Regulations
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, solutions‑focused, and adaptable approach
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite
