We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a well-established and highly respected property services company. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a long-term contract delivering essential Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) works on behalf of L&Q contract.
The Role
As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the key point of contact between residents and the site team, ensuring that all communication is clear, consistent, and supportive throughout the lifecycle of planned works. You will play a vital role in maintaining resident satisfaction while works are carried out in occupied homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the main liaison between residents, clients, and site teams
* Provide clear communication regarding upcoming works, timelines, and any disruptions
* Arrange and attend resident consultations, meetings, and property visits
* Handle resident queries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently
* Support vulnerable residents and ensure their needs are considered throughout the project
* Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions
* Work closely with site managers and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
About the Project
You will be working on the L&Q contract (roof and door replacement), delivering energy efficiency improvements as part of the SHDF programme, helping to improve homes and reduce carbon emissions across the housing stock.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or in a similar customer-facing role within social housing or construction
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
* Full UK driving licence (essential) and car
* Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
