HGV Class 2 Driver – Multi-Drop – Swindon People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver – Multi-Drop – Swindon to join our well-established client based in Swindon .

This role would also suit candidates who have previously worked as a Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Category C Driver, Delivery Driver, or HGV Driver.

This is an ideal role for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for stable day shifts and consistent Monday to Friday work.

Shifts • Monday to Friday • AM start times from 07:00am until finish • Ongoing day shift work • Weekend overtime available Rates of Pay • £16.35 per hour – Monday to Friday • Overtime rates available for weekends and bank holidays • Weekly Pay Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive: • Excellent Hourly Rates • Ongoing Work • Weekly Pay • Immediate Starts Available • Stable Monday to Friday Working Pattern • Overtime Opportunities • Supportive Transport Team • Ongoing Training Provided • Long-term Career Opportunities Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Completing Class 2 multi-drop deliveries to customer locations • Operating Category C vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections • Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly before transport • Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations • Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly • Assisting with loading and unloading where required • Completing all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: • A valid UK Category C Driving Licence • A minimum of 12 months' Class 2 driving experience • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No major endorsement codes • A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Good spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and timekeeping • A strong understanding of UK road traffic laws and drivers' hours regulations • Good communication and customer service skills Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience would be beneficial • Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be advantageous Training Provided • Ongoing industry-related training and support provided throughout your assignment Apply If you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing work with excellent rates of pay and immediate starts available, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information. xwzovoh
