HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – NIGHT SHIFT – CAMBUSLANG, North Lanarkshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in CAMBUSLANG, North Lanarkshire .

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, or Lorry Driver.

Shifts • Night Shift Available • 4 ON / 4 OFF Rates of Pay • £16.50 – £18.00 per hour Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Driver you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates – PAYE role (holidays accrued separately) • Weekly pay • Ongoing long-term work • Opportunity for newly passed drivers • Immediate starts available • Full training and support provided • Staff canteen and on-site parking • Company discounts after qualifying period • Supportive working environment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver your duties will include, but not be limited to: • Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations • Loading and unloading vehicles with care • Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks • Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with safety regulations • Following assigned routes and adhering to delivery schedules • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers • Some handball required Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver you will need: • A valid UK Category C Licence • A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No IN, DR, DD, or CD endorsements • A reliable, punctual, and professional approach • Good communication and customer service skills • A sound understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations • The ability to work as part of a two-person delivery team Desirable Experience • Previous commercial or multi-drop driving experience • Experience delivering large or bulky items • Previous customer-facing delivery experience Training Provided • Full industry-related training provided • Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to start an exciting new driving role with a trusted logistics company based in CAMBUSLANG , apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch. xwzovoh
