Chemist, AI Safety & Risk Mapping

Lila Sciences is seeking a chemist to map risk across chemical sciences and connect deep chemistry expertise with dual-use risk assessment to safeguard increasingly capable scientific AI. You will investigate how advances could alter harmful capabilities and examine established and emerging chemical threats.

You will work to translate risk judgments into policy boundaries, identify gaps, and collaborate with threat modelers and mitigation teams to design informed assessments and safeguards.
