Transport Planner

We are currently recruiting for Transport Planners to join our client’s operation based in Immingham, Humber Estuary. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced logistics environment. The Role As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for the effective planning and coordination of transport operations, ensuring cost efficiency, service excellence, and full compliance with industry regulations. Key responsibilities will include: Planning and routing deliveries and collections Coordinating with drivers, customers, and port authorities Managing daily transport schedules and resolving operational issues Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and company procedures Monitoring KPIs and optimising vehicle utilisation Liaising closely with internal departments to maintain service levels The Ideal Candidate Proven experience in a transport planning role is desireable but not essential Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Confident communicator with the ability to work under pressure What’s On Offer Competitive salary of £28000 to £36000 Opportunity to work within a well-established logistics operation Supportive team environment Career development opportunities If you are looking for your next challenge in the Humber region, we would love to hear from you.
