- £60k Dependent on Experience We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Quality Manager who will take a leading role in shaping and elevating quality performance across a diverse operational environment.
This position is central to embedding a culture where work is delivered right first time and where robust systems and processes support consistent, high-quality outcomes.
The Quality Manager will act as the organisations primary specialist for quality matters, offering guidance to senior leaders and operational teams while driving continuous improvement and defect-free delivery across all projects.
Role Overview As Quality Manager, you will oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the organisations quality management systems.
You will ensure that all processes align with industry standards and support safe, efficient, and compliant delivery across the business.
Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 44001, coordinating internal governance activities, and supporting external audits and accreditation processes.
You will facilitate quality reviews, contribute to management system updates, and ensure documentation remains accurate and effective.
A core part of the role involves supporting teams with training, coaching, and development to strengthen quality capability.
You will lead or support investigations, root cause analysis, and improvement initiatives, ensuring lessons learned are captured and implemented.
The Quality Manager will also represent the organisation in client-facing quality discussions, prepare performance reports and KPIs, and challenge existing processes to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile Experienced Quality professional with a background in infrastructure, ideally highways or related sectors PCQI status
- Desirable ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification Strong leadership skills with the confidence to challenge and influence quality performance Proven ability to build relationships and drive positive change across multi-disciplinary project environments Highly organised with strong analytical capability and the ability to produce clear, evidence-based reports Excellent communication skills Full UK driving licence Willingness to undertake Drug & Alcohol testing and safety-critical medical assessments CSCS card desirable Benefits 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days Company vehicle Employer pension contributions Training and development opportunities Death in service benefit Subsidised private healthcare Subsidised gym membership or weight-management programme Mobile phone allowance How to Apply If you believe your skills and values align with this opportunity and you can make a strong contribution as a Quality Manager, we welcome your application.
