Job Title: Damp and Mould Operative Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Job Category: Property Services Location: South East London Salary: £38,000 We are currently looking for a Damp and Mould Operative to join a dedicated team providing essential maintenance services across social housing properties in the South East London area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining healthy, safe, and well-kept homes for local residents. Responsibilities: Identifying and treating damp and mould issues across a range of residential properties. Carrying out inspections to assess the extent of damage and recommending effective solutions. Applying specialised mould treatments and ensuring correct ventilation solutions are installed. Repairing affected surfaces, including painting and decorating, to restore the property to a safe and habitable condition. Completing internal and external painting and decorating as part of the mould treatment and property maintenance process. Working alongside other maintenance teams to address underlying causes of damp, such as leaks or poor insulation. Providing professional advice to tenants regarding the prevention and management of damp and mould. Completing work to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
