Mechanic Prestige Automotive Restoration & EngineeringAre you an experienced Mechanic looking for something more than routine servicing and repairs?
This is a rare opportunity for a skilled Mechanic to join a specialist automotive engineering business working on some of the world's most prestigious luxury and classic vehicles. You'll be involved in diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding and testing specialist hydraulic and mechanical components, helping restore exceptional vehicles to the highest standards.
If you're a hands-on Mechanic who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and precision engineering, this role offers the chance to develop highly sought-after specialist skills within a growing employee-owned business.
The OpportunityAs a Mechanic, you'll work within a dedicated technical team responsible for the refurbishment, remanufacturing and testing of hydraulic systems and vehicle components. No two days are the same, and you'll be involved in a wide variety of specialist engineering projects.
This position would suit a Mechanic who enjoys stripping components down, understanding how systems work, identifying faults and rebuilding assemblies to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults within hydraulic and mechanical systems
Strip, inspect and rebuild specialist vehicle components
Repair and refurbish hydraulic steering systems and assemblies
Build and test hydraulic units to strict quality standards
Support restoration, refurbishment and remanufacturing projects
Carry out mechanical repairs and assembly work
Complete workshop documentation accurately
Maintain a safe, organised and professional working environment
Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standardsWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Mechanic, Vehicle Technician or Mechanical Fitter
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good understanding of mechanical systems
Experience working with hydraulic systems would be advantageous
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
