Senior Planner

Senior Planner Location: Ellesmere Port Salary: Up to £40,000 Reports: 2 Direct Reports We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Planner to join a manufacturing business in Ellesmere Port. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing planning activities, managing inventory, purchasing materials, and ensuring effective capacity planning across the operation. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the MRP process Maintain planning parameters including lead times, ROP, ROQ, and safety stock Balance capacity and workload, identifying constraints and solutions Oversee purchasing of standard and long lead-time materials Optimise inventory levels and stock health Maintain ERP/MRP planning data accuracy Co-ordinate product and stock change management Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Requirements Previous experience in a senior planning or supply chain role Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems Manufacturing environment experience essential Strong understanding of capacity planning and inventory management Excellent analytical and organisational skills To Apply Contact Nicola Evans at HRGO Recruitment 📞 (phone number removed)
