About the role

Digital Product Manager – E-commerce | £70,000 - £80,000 + bonus

We’re looking for a Digital Product Manager to own and improve the basket and checkout experience across a major e-commerce platform.

This is a key product role focused on making the customer journey simpler, faster and more commercially effective, from adding products to the basket through to booking completion and confirmation.

You’ll be responsible for areas including:

  • Basket and checkout journeys
  • Checkout summary and confirmation experiences
  • Adding, managing and upgrading products within the basket
  • Reservation and basket-hold functionality
  • Abandoned/forgotten baskets
  • Identifying opportunities to improve conversion and customer experience
  • Driving the ongoing product roadmap and development

The organisation is looking to significantly improve its approach to basket and checkout, so this is a genuine change and improvement opportunity, rather than a role focused on maintaining an established process.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong digital product management experience within e-commerce
  • Proven experience developing and improving basket and checkout workflows
  • Experience from large-scale retail or e-commerce environments would be highly relevant
  • A strong understanding of customer journeys, conversion and digital optimisation
  • Payments experience is useful but not essential

Location: UK – Watford

Salary: £70–80k

Working: Highly flexible, with 1–2 days per week in the office

If you’ve owned e-commerce checkout and basket experiences and want the opportunity to make a significant impact, I’d be keen to hear from you.
