About the role

An established and highly respected engineering business is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to help maintain and continuously improve quality standards within a world-class manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring products, materials and manufacturing processes meet stringent quality standards throughout production. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you will carry out inspections, investigate non-conformances and support continuous improvement activities to drive quality performance across the business. This position would suit someone with a strong quality inspection background looking to develop within a technically advanced manufacturing environment. Quality Assurance Inspector Permanent Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Friday: 8:30am – 1:00pm Up to £45,000 per annum + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Rugby Quality Assurance Inspector Key Responsibilities Carrying out visual, dimensional and functional inspections of components and finished products Inspecting products against engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards Using a range of inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges and electrical test equipment Recording inspection results and maintaining quality documentation Raising and investigating non-conformances and supporting root cause analysis Assisting with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Supporting internal and external quality audits Maintaining calibration records and inspection equipment Working with Production and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing quality Supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives  Quality Assurance Inspector Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications Previous experience within a Quality Assurance, Quality Inspector or Quality Control role Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Experience using precision inspection equipment such as calipers, gauges, micrometers or multimeters Good understanding of ISO9001 quality systems Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills Experience recording inspection data and producing quality documentation Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments  Quality Assurance Inspector Company Benefits Annual discretionary bonus Annual salary review 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service Holiday purchase scheme Royal London pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme Employee discounts platform Health and wellbeing portal Early finish every Friday Stable and growing engineering business with excellent long-term career prospects This is a fully site-based role.  If you feel this is an opportunity you would like to discuss, please contact me on (url removed)
