46 years of heritage, one mechanical engineer needed in London

Forty six years of engineering heritage, a client list that runs from national theatres to global car makers, and a London studio that needs a mechanical engineer who wants more than a narrow lane. The firm is an established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, family founded and still values led, working across building services, civil and structural, energy and sustainability. The London team sits close to Holborn and delivers an unusually varied workload: theatre and heritage refurbishments, commercial and residential schemes, education, industrial and advanced manufacturing projects, and a growing pipeline of energy and net zero work including some of the UK's most ambitious data centre developments. As a mechanical engineer with a few years of consultancy design behind you, you will produce designs, calculations and specifications across that whole mix, attend design team meetings, visit sites and work directly with the senior engineers and directors above you, the kind of proximity that accelerates careers in a way a big-firm hierarchy never does. The practice has a long record of developing its engineers towards chartership and promoting from within.Salary is between 42,000 and 52,000, depending on experience, and the wider package reflects a firm that has kept people for decades rather than churned them.If you have a mechanical or building services engineering degree or HNC and two or more years of design experience in consultancy, send your CV over and we will fill in the detail, including the projects on the board right now.If you've read this far and you're still unsure and would prefer a detailed market insight including salary bands and market trends - then check out our free guide here:
