Transport Planner (Monday - Friday) (Permanent)

Transport Planner TST Group is expanding and were looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our Planning Team in Ballymena. Ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and keeping a busy transport operation running smoothly. The Role: Youll be responsible for planning and coordinating daily vehicle movements across the UK and Ireland. Working closely with drivers, sub-contractors and customers, youll make sure everything runs efficiently and on time. Plan, schedule and optimise daily routes across the UK and Ireland Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and internal teams Monitor job progress, ensuring service levels and compliance are maintained Support drivers with pre-briefs and debriefs Handle live operational challenges and keep things moving Assist with KPI reporting and performance tracking What Were Looking For: Previous experience in Transport Planning or Fleet Coordination Good knowledge of UK & Ireland geography Understanding of Tachograph Regulations and the Working Time Directive Strong organisational and communication skills Calm under pressure with a proactive, solutions-focused approach CPC qualification is an advantage but not essential What Youll Get: Monday to Friday schedule with occasional Saturday morning rotation Training and development opportunities to grow your career Long-term stability in a respected, family-run logistics company Supportive working environment with a strong team culture We are looking for both our full load and groupage departments If you thrive in a busy logistics environment and want to join a company that values efficiency, teamwork and customer service, wed love to hear from you.
