We are working with an established and highly regarded business specialising in Industrial and Logistics developments, delivering high-quality projects across the Midlands and wider UK market. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are looking to appoint an Assistant Estimator to join the Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their estimating career within a supportive environment that offers genuine progression and exposure to large-scale schemes. The Role Working closely with senior members of the commercial and pre-construction team, you will support the estimating process across a range of Industrial and Logistics projects from early-stage enquiries through to tender submission. Key responsibilities will include: * Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions * Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation * Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations * Supporting pricing exercises and cost planning activities * Assisting with risk assessments and value engineering opportunities * Maintaining estimating databases and cost information * Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders throughout the pre-construction process About You We are keen to speak with candidates who: * Have previous experience within an estimating, commercial, quantity surveying or construction support role * Have exposure to the construction industry (industrial experience is beneficial but not essential) * Possess strong numerical and analytical skills * Have excellent communication and organisational abilities * Are ambitious and keen to develop within a growing business What's on Offer * Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience * Competitive package and benefits * Flexible working arrangements * Career progression and development opportunities * Exposure to exciting Industrial and Logistics projects * Supportive and collaborative team environment If you are looking for a role where you can develop your skills, gain valuable project exposure and progress your career within a thriving sector, we would love to hear from you.
