Part-Time Health and Safety Advisor

Part-Time Health and Safety Advisor (2 or 3 days a week) Cardiff Salary Pro-Rata (circa £32,000) + Benefits Are you looking for a part-time Health and Safety role where you can make a real impact on site? We're supporting a well-established Principal Contractor, specialising in high-rise commercial and residential projects across Cardiff to recruit a Part-Time Health and Safety Advisor (approximately 2 or 3 days a week). Reporting into the Head of Health and Safety, you'll help deliver robust health and safety practices across site operations and project teams in Cardiff. The successful Health and Safety Advisor will: Provide a strong on-site Health and Safety presence, completing inspections, audits and compliance checks and supporting close-out of actions Produce and review RAMS and key project documentation, including construction phase plans and policy documents Support incident and near-miss reporting and investigations, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement Engage with site teams, clients and subcontractors, providing advice and guidance on the internal health and safety management systemThe successful candidate will have: NEBOSH General Certificate (NEBOSH Construction and Fire would be advantageous) and strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, including CDM 2015 and Work at Height Experience in a similar role across construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence delivering training/presentations on site CSCS card and competent IT skillsIf you have the relevant skills and experience or would like further information, please contact Luke O'Driscoll on (phone number removed) or Job ref: LOD4981 Irwin and Colton are a specialist Health and Safety recruitment company, based in the South East of England we recruit across the UK.
