Field Based | Full Time | Competitive Salary + Uncapped Commission
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to join a growing and fast-paced business within the logistics and delivery sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, winning new business, and working within a target-focused environment with genuine earning potential.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities across your designated region, managing customer accounts, and driving revenue growth.
You will play a key role in expanding the company’s customer base while maintaining high levels of service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate new business opportunities through proactive sales activity
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs
* Attend client meetings and networking opportunities
* Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends
* Work closely with operational teams to deliver excellent customer service
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in sales, business development, or account management
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Target-driven with a proactive attitude
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
* Full UK driving licence required
* Experience within transport, logistics, courier, or distribution sectors would be advantageous
