About the role
GMP Recruitment Agency Ltd are proud to be working in partnership with a highly reputable, multinational organisation to recruit an experienced Stock Controller for their Worcester -based facility.
Role Overview
The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring stock accuracy and availability across the business, alongside the maintenance, administration, and accuracy of multiple computer systems and software platforms. The successful candidate will support operational efficiency through accurate reporting, stock management, and system administration while working independently and collaboratively within the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce and maintain daily operational reports
* Prepare and update daily performance charts
* Process and manage weekly returns
* Complete weekly despatch crib scans
* Conduct RFT fault finding and maintenance
* Arrange and process returns paperwork daily to ensure outstanding orders are returned to third parties promptly
* Maintain accurate stock management and inventory control
* Upload and manage CSV files within internal systems
* Ensure accuracy of stock records across multiple systems
* Support continuous improvement within stock control and warehouse processes
Skills & Experience Required
* Ability to work accurately and deliver results to deadlines
* Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
* Good organisational and administrative skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Previous stock control, warehouse administration, or inventory experience preferred
Qualifications & Training
* Scissor lift operator licence preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
