3D Recruit are looking to expand our pool of Section 12 doctors to support Local Authorities with the assessment for Dols (Deprivation of liberty). You will be paid per assessmentranging from £140 - £170 an assessment The Section 12 doctors are responsible for completing Mental Health assessments and Eligibility assessments. Assess whether the person has a mental disorder (e.g. dementia, learning disability, severe mental illness)Confirm that the disorder is of a nature or degree that justifies care or treatment arrangementsProvide medical input into whether the deprivation of liberty is necessary in the person’s best interestsWork alongside a Best Interests Assessor (BIA) who looks at care, alternatives, and proportionalityEnsure decisions comply with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 safeguards Intro:Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker? 3D Recruit is looking for skilled Qualified Social Workers to connect with top local authority teams across the country.
