Electronics Inspector

Electronics Inspector WeHireTrades – Recruiting on behalf of our client WeHireTrades is supporting an employee‑owned electronics manufacturer in hiring an experienced Electronics Inspector. This is a hands‑on, quality‑focused role inspecting PCB assemblies, cables, harnesses and full electronic units across a busy production environment. 🔧 What You’ll Do * SMT PCB inspection & through‑hole PCB inspection * Inspect cables, harnesses and completed electronic units * Complete First‑Off Inspections and approve builds * Identify, record and communicate defects * Support SMT quality checks when needed * Maintain accurate inspection documentation * Assist with packing finished goods 👤 What You Need * Electronics manufacturing experience * Strong understanding of PCB construction * Ability to inspect to component level * Confident reading drawings & production documents * Excellent attention to detail * Comfortable with fine tools & optical inspection equipment * Reliable, organised and quality‑driven Desirable: PCB inspection, AOI experience, IPC knowledge, rework skills, cable/harness inspection. ⏰ Hours Full‑time, 40 hours Mon–Thu: 8:00–17:00 Fri: 8:00–14:00 Regular overtime available (paid at time + one‑third) 💷 Benefits * Employee‑Owned Trust profit‑share scheme (after 12 months) * Stable, supportive manufacturing environment * Opportunity to play a key role in product quality 🎯 The Opportunity A great role for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys varied inspection work, and wants to contribute to a company where quality truly matters
