Freelance Site Agent – Bridge & Viaduct Works 📍 Yorkshire 💼 Freelance (Ltd or CIS) 📅 Ongoing work 💷 Competitive day rate An experienced Freelance Site Agent is required for ongoing bridge and viaduct repair / replacement works across Yorkshire. The role will involve managing structural maintenance and heavy civils packages on highways infrastructure schemes, with a strong focus on safety, programme delivery, quality and stakeholder coordination. This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with a proven background delivering bridge refurbishment, structural repairs and highways civils works within live or challenging environments. Scope of Works * Managing bridge and viaduct repair / replacement projects * Overseeing expansion joint replacements * Managing bearing replacement works * Supervising waterproofing and concrete repair packages * Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and engineering staff * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget * Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation * Monitoring progress, quality and commercial performance * Liaising with clients, engineers and project stakeholders * Driving programme delivery and resolving on-site issues Requirements * Proven experience working as a Site Agent on highways or major civils infrastructure projects * Strong background in bridge, viaduct or structural repair works * Experience managing structural refurbishment and maintenance packages * Good understanding of temporary works, sequencing and safe delivery practices * SMSTS * CSCS * Temporary Works awareness preferred * First Aid preferred * Strong leadership, planning and programme management capability * Excellent communication and health & safety awareness This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent looking for long-term freelance work on technically challenging infrastructure projects across Yorkshire
