Health & Safety Manager (Construction)

EA Associates are working with a well-established construction contractor based in Colchester who are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support projects across Essex, Suffolk and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects. You will take ownership of the company's health and safety function, ensuring compliance across multiple live sites while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the business. Responsibilities: * Carrying out site inspections and audits across construction and civil engineering projects * Producing reports and ensuring corrective actions are implemented * Providing guidance and support to site teams on all health and safety matters * Reviewing RAMS, policies and procedures * Delivering toolbox talks and health & safety training where required * Investigating incidents and implementing preventative measures * Ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation and industry best practice Requirements: * NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential) * Previous experience within the construction and / or civil engineering sectors * Strong knowledge of current HSE legislation * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Full UK Driving Licence What's on Offer: * Competitive salary and package * Company vehicle or allowance * Long-term career opportunity with a growing regional contractor For more information, please contact EA Associates for a confidential discussion
