Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter – Fulltime Very good understanding of Mechanical Fitting duties in relation to construction site plant including 36o's ADT's, Telehandlers ad other large plant. A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 5-7 years (HS2) PAYE basis Pay rate: £20.88 per hour for the first 39 hours and £31.32 for the remaining 11 hours Lodge allowance available for candidate located over 50 miles away from the site. Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including 8 bank holidays) Must Have: * CSCS - Blue Skilled, Gold Skilled/Advanced Craft * Fabrication and assembly of machinery and equipment using metal parts * Reading and interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to guide construction and repairs * Inspecting machinery for defects or wear and performing routine maintenance * Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and replacing or repairing faulty components * Maintaining safety standards and using personal protective equipment in noisy, hot, or dusty environments * Keeping records of maintenance, operations, and safety procedures Overtime: Saturday- time and a half for the first 4 hours, then double time Sunday- Double time Pension Training and upskilling provided Safe working environment Life Insurance Secure regular income So, if you want to work for a main contractor that cares about their tradesperson, then this is your opportunity to apply and join the project now!
