A leading housing provider is seeking a Stock Condition Surveyor to take ownership of site assessments across the South West. You’ll be the "boots on the ground," ensuring the organisation meets its landlord responsibilities, complies with the Decent Homes Standard, and delivers robust data to inform future investment and upgrade programmes. Key Accountabilities * Carry out internal and external Decent Homes Standard stock condition surveys using mobile devices, including HHSRS assessments. * Identify and escalate severe or moderate HHSRS hazards (with a focus on damp and mould) via email, providing supporting photographic evidence. * Follow agreed no-access procedures and ensure all health and safety protocols are a primary consideration in your daily decision-making. * Effectively prioritise and manage your survey diary to ensure all target completion dates are met. * Undertake surveys across a wide geographical area, including travel to outlier locations as required. The Ideal Candidate * Proven track record of undertaking detailed stock condition surveys within occupied residential properties. * Solid practical knowledge of the Decent Homes Standard and HHSRS assessments. * Strong IT skills, specifically with mobile survey applications and electronic devices. * Professional customer communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly with residents. * Valid driving license, insurance, and access to a vehicle. Must be comfortable traveling within and beyond allocated areas
