Buyer

Edwards and Pearce are working with a large international business to recruit an experienced purchasing professional to support during a period of high workload. This is a great opportunity to build and develop existing purchasing skills in large organisation.

You will assist through a large system implementation providing additional support to the existing team, managing increased workload as they move through the process.
You will be responsible for interacting with internal departments to identify purchasing needs, sourcing product from existing and new suppliers, liaising and negotiating pricing and terms, placing purchase orders, managing suppliers and expediting products.

Requirements:
You will need existing purchasing experience, strong communication, analysis, and commercial skills, and be logical with good numeracy skills.
The role will be on an initial 3 month basis, which may extend according to the needs of the project. The role will be on site 5 days/week based in their Hull offices.
