General Foreman

Kenton Black are recruiting for a General Foreman on a permanent basis in Aberdeen. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Foreman to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, working across a variety of roads, civils and hard landscaping projects throughout Aberdeen and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification. Key responsibilities will include overseeing daily site operations, managing subcontractors and direct labour, and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and quality standards. You will be responsible for enforcing health & safety procedures on site, coordinating activities across multiple work fronts, and maintaining effective communication with Site Engineers, Project Managers and the wider project team. Experience delivering roads, infrastructure and hardscaping projects is essential, with previous exposure to Tier 1 or main contractor environments highly desirable, although candidates from reputable regional contractors will also be considered. Ideally, you will have a strong background operating as a General Foreman or Senior Supervisor within the civils sector, with excellent leadership and organisational skills. You will hold a valid SSSTS or SMSTS (mandatory), CSCS card and First Aid certification.
