Pay: £18.31 per hour
Hours: 4548 hours per week (shifts between 6am6pm, including some weekends)
Contract: Temporary, with potential for permanent employment
Job Description:
We are seeking a practically minded, hands-on Plant Operator to provide cover for a team member on long-term sick leave. This is a temporary role, ideal for someone looking to gain experience in renewable energy , biogas plant operations , or industrial plant work , with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The role involves operating and assisting with the day-to-day running of a biogas facility that processes pig manure to produce methane gas, supplying energy across the South West. Full training will be provided. xwzovoh
Key Responsibilities:
Operate plant machinery safely under supervision
Assist with day-to-day operations of a biogas plant
Handle materials and perform light physical work
Support the site team with practical tasks
Work as part of a shift team (no lone working)
Requirements / Skills:
Practically minded, hands-on approach
Comfortable with physical work and a bit of muck (not too much)
Flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends
