Senior Project Manager £120,000 + Package £15m Cut & Carve Refurbishment | Guildford We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a £15 million cut and carve refurbishment project in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Senior Project Manager with a strong background in major refurbishment and complex commercial construction projects to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a significant project from pre-construction through to completion. The Role As Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and internal project team, providing strong leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the £15m refurbishment project * Lead and manage the project team and wider site team * Manage programme, budget, quality and health & safety * Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholders * Monitor project progress and drive programme performance * Manage commercial and contractual requirements alongside the commercial team * Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports * Identify and manage project risks and opportunities * Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with the required specifications and standards * Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project About You The successful candidate will have: * Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the construction industry * Experience delivering large-scale refurbishment / cut and carve projects * Experience managing projects in the region of £10m+ * Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills * Excellent knowledge of construction programmes, project delivery and commercial management * Strong communication and organisational skills * Relevant construction qualifications * SMSTS and Black CSCS * NVQ Level 6 or 7 This is an excellent opportunity to join a major project in Guildford, working with an established construction business on a high-value refurbishment scheme
