About the role
Vibe Recruit is working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist to join their manufacturing team.

Full-time, permanent contract
Hours of Work - Monday to Friday (6am-3pm)
Location - Cowbridge
Salary - £32,240 per annum
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-precision components in line with technical drawings, ensuring quality and adherence to health and safety standards.
Key Duties:
Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture components to specification
Interpret technical drawings and CAD files (e.g. SolidWorks)
Carry out machining processes including milling and grinding
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
Use hand tools, power tools, and tooling for setup and assembly
Support additional processes such as basic welding or plastics moulding when required
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Work collaboratively with the team on production and quality control
Experience Required:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, milling, and grinding processes
Ability xwzovoh to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Experience using hand and power tools
Basic maths skills for measurements and tolerances
