Position: Machine Maintenance EngineerJob Type: Permanent Location: Malvern, Worcestershire Salary: £45,000 per yearMachine Maintenance EngineerPure Staff are currently recruiting for a Machine Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing tissue paper supplier with production sites across Europe and distribution to over 70 countries worldwide.This Machine Maintenance Engineer role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical skills who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for breakdown support, planned maintenance and continuous improvement activities within the facility's production operations.Your RoleAs a Machine Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:Attending breakdowns on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment within the paper industryPerforming Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activitiesCarrying out continuous improvement projectsIdentifying faults and performing Root Cause Analysis on equipment breakdownsMonitoring equipment performance following repairsCommunicating issues or ongoing problems to senior managementMaintaining accurate records of maintenance tasks and spare part usage using EAM Infor CMMSParticipating in plant improvements and modificationsAttending relevant training to support daily tasksRequirementsCompleted Muli skilled Apprenticeship in an engineering disciplineMechanical and electrical maintenance experienceStrong logical thinker with excellent problem‑solving skillsProactive approach to safetyAble to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracyWorking knowledge of PLC hardware, pneumatics, and hydraulicsDesirable:Experience within the tissue/paper industryNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical MaintenancePLC or robot cell programming and/or fault‑finding experiencePay & Shifts£45,000 per yearMonday to FridayTwo‑shift pattern:06:00 - 14:0014:00 - 22:00What's in it for you?Weekly pay from an experienced payroll teamHoliday accrued up to 28 days (pro‑rata)Supportive and friendly working environmentFree onsite parkingFree access to our perks scheme after your first payment (discounts on electronics, travel, clothing, home, fitness, wellbeing and more)How to ApplyTo apply for this role, please send your up‑to‑date CV to this advert or call (phone number removed) and speak to one of our recruitment consultants today!
