Registered Building Inspector – Class 2D / 2F

Shropshire \| Hybrid / Home Based \+ Site Inspections 37 hours per week \| Contract to 16 April 2027 Start: 12 October 2026 Lynx Employment Services is looking for experienced Registered Building Inspectors for long-term contract opportunities within a busy Building Control service. We are interested in speaking with Class 2D or 2F Registered Building Inspectors, with opportunities focused on either plan checking/plan assessment or a combination of site inspections and plan checking. You will work across domestic, complex and commercial projects, assessing plans for Building Regulations compliance and, depending on the assignment, carrying out site inspections. Applicants must be registered with the Building Safety Regulator, ideally at Class 2D or 2F, and have substantial Building Control experience. Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and Approved Documents is essential. Basic DBS and DVLA checks will be required
