About the role
We are partnering with a successful, privately owned engineering business in Bridgend to find a
Production Technician
who enjoys making things work well. Our client designs and manufactures high-tech equipment for customers globally, and this role offers the chance to build, commission and test a varied range of products as part of a close-knit production team.
What you'll be doing:
As

You'll carry out quality checks, complete build records, and commission and test equipment against established plans. You'll also help keep the production area organised, raise build or component issues clearly with production management, and share practical feedback with engineering as new products are validated. Your care, teamwork and follow-through will make a real difference to the quality of the finished equipment.
What you'll bring:
Around 3-5 years' experience in a similar
production or assembly A
BTEC Level 3
or equivalent A level in an
electrical or electronic subject . Confidence reading build documents and working carefully through detailed tasks. Good hand-eye coordination, organisation and attention to detail. A positive, collaborative approach and the ability to work independently when needed. Hands-on
mechanical assembly experience

Why join?
You'll join a privately owned business with an international customer base, contribute to complete products rather than a single repetitive stage, and work across both
electrical and mechanical assembly, testing and commissioning. The position is full-time and permanent, based in Bridgend, with a salary of
